We’re delighted to share the announcement of an exciting new resort by Rocco Forte Hotels. In 2026, our latest property will welcome guests to the north-east shores of Sardinia, the charming island nestled off Italy’s west coast.
Set against azure blue waters and soft white sand, our beachside resort can be found by the bay of Liscia di Vacca in Porto Cervo, a beautiful town on Costa Smeralda, Italy’s most famous coastline.
Discover our grand designs
Under the creative vision of Spanish architect, Patricia Urquiola, the interiors of all 64 rooms and suites will be completely redesigned. Natural materials and local craftsmanship lie at the centre of her design philosophy.
Sardinian architect Efisio Onali also brings his vision to the project, blending Mediterranean architecture with the natural landscape.
Sympathetic to the Sardinian landscape
Shaded by a rocky hillside and a short stroll from one of the best beaches on the island, the resort occupies an enviable location. Its extensive grounds are dotted with palm trees and terracotta paths that lead you to an inviting outdoor swimming pool.
Centred around the pool, palm-filled gardens have been designed by Patrizia Pozzi, who recently revived the gardens at Villa Tasca Park in Palermo. Soon you’ll be able to walk on terracotta paths through the landscaped gardens to a private beach.
The spa, bar and restaurants
Added extras will include a state-of-the-art spa, three restaurants and panoramic views over the Tyrrhenian Sea, visible from our rooftop bar, while further facilities include meeting and event spaces.
Our new Sardinia resort complements our existing Italian properties in Rome, Florence, Sicily and Puglia.
