Ahead of Royal Ascot this summer, Brown’s Hotel is proud to be partnering with Lock & Co. Hatters in a grand celebration of the British Social Season. Alongside a special Haute Couture Afternoon Tea, guests are invited to shop from a range of custom-made headpieces, courtesy of Lock and Co.’s skilled milliners. This year, Royal Ascot will see an even greater focus on the renowned fashions of race-goers, following the release of the event’s first-ever lookbook. Under British designer Daniel Fletcher, guests are encouraged to lean into a distinct British heritage through their sartorial selections.

Sargent and Fashion at Tate Britain

Calling all admirers of sumptuous costume and elegant portraiture, Tate Britain invites you to discover the sensational works of John Singer Sargent from a new perspective. ‘Sargent and Fashion’ delves into the artist’s role as both stylist and painter, with over 60 paintings on display, alongside numerous exquisite garments that his subjects wore for their portraits.
