Limiting plastic

On our journey to reduce plastic consumption, we have introduced several plastic-free alternatives. Personalised cloth and tissue paper now replace our garment and laundry bags. We use reusable boxes for supply and storage.

Water

Water is a scarce resource and we want to use it responsibly. We have begun this journey by installing nozzles on all sink faucets to reduce water consumption.

Responsible energy use

We strive for responsible energy consumption, including electricity. Room lights automatically turn off when the key card is removed. Double-glazed windows save energy and reduce noise, maintaining comfortable temperatures year-round. Our air conditioning adjusts to the weather for optimal settings.

Limiting the use of paper

We are reducing our paper usage by offering a paperless check-in and soon, a paperless check-out.

Ensuring cleanliness and sustainability

Aware of the impact of cleaning products on both the environment and the health of our team and guests, we have replaced traditional cleaning products with natural detergents.

Irene Forte Skincare

Spa products

We are delighted to use the spa products of Sir Rocco Forte’s daughter, Irene. Irene Forte’s skincare brand is certified B-corp, butterfly and positive luxury. Made in Italy for our group and hotels, her products are vegan-friendly, sustainable and natural.

Green transportation

Our guests have access to two hybrid cars for their transfers. We also offer complimentary use of our mountain and city bikes, perfect for exploring the city centre and its monuments. Additionally, we have partnered with local guides to create tours with itineraries for those who wish to explore the city by bike or on foot.

Eco Products

When another known eco-responsible option is available, we go out of our way to use it. We have 100% bamboo made combs, toothbrushes and toilet paper. Our shower caps, shaving razors and sewing kits are made from corn starch while the toys we sell and gifts we offer are made from a sustainable wood source.
