Edem, your personal stylist, will present you with a carefully curated selection of pieces not found anywhere else in the city, with an aim to connect the creatives behind the clothes with those wearing them through a shared love of fashion.

Edem

With roots in Togo and Martinique, Edem Adobaya grew up in Paris and developed an early eye for fashion. He worked as an international personal stylist before becoming a buyer and fashion director for Giorgio Armani’s German branch in Munich. His Chambre Privée aims to re-establish the lost connection between the designer and the people who buy their clothes.

A treasure trove in the heart of Munich’s Old Town, EDEM Chambre Privée’s unassuming facade betrays its striking interior. Monochrome walls and fixtures provide an elegant backdrop for high fashion and art coming together, with bold, passionately curated pieces complemented by beautifully placed lamps, chic furniture, and colourful paintings.

The Experience

Our concierge will arrange your exclusive personal shopping experience at EDEM Chambre Privée, where Edem himself will be glad to accommodate you outside of normal opening hours, including on Sundays, to offer his selection of pieces found nowhere else in the city. Alternatively, browse unique items presented to you by Edem in the comfort of our hotel, always keeping in mind his philosophy: ‘Forget the rules - if you like it, wear it’.
