Appointed Royal Court Supplier in 1905 by the successor of King Ludwig II, the Brückner Perfumery located on Munich’s central square, Marienplatz, invites you on a "Journey of the Senses".
Tour bookable on request and subject to availability, via the concierge team at The Charles Hotel.
The tour begins with a glass of Champagne, before the history of Parfümerie Brückner is revealed. Using your olfactory senses to explore, learn about the world of fragrances and discover the inspiration behind them. Trace the history of Munich from the perfume house’s beginnings in 1893, and hear stories about the royal family through the gentle spritz of scents.
Discover more about the perfumery’s 130 years of history and the importance of Margarete Bublitz, who took over the perfumery in the 1950s. Inhale the different ingredients, see how they are combined to produce the perfume, and learn how to conduct a scent analysis.
At the end of your sensory journey, select your own hand-labelled fragrance from the perfumes created in-house, and you’ll have a personalised sample to take home with you.
