Golf Academy and Facilities

Verdura golf academy offers an extensive array of practice facilities for members and guests to enjoy when they visit, with the resort featuring the latest swing technology for players to improve their game.

As well as offering a double-ended driving range with a new covered area to allow for practice in all conditions, the academy features two studios that have been built for club-fitting and swing analysis using the latest state-of-the-art technology – including Trackman, SportsBox AI, Hackmotion, Smart2Move force plates, Blast Golf and Sam PuttLab analysis. It also features Italy’s only European Tour-approved Performance Centre.

Led by a team of PGA-qualified professionals, the academy provides everything you need to enhance your golfing experience – including individual and group coaching, lessons on the course, dedicated children’s programmes and outdoor tuition.

Clubhouse and Equipment Hire

Located at the historic Torre Verdura Fort, Verdura’s clubhouse is the idyllic spot for players to prepare for their rounds or compare scorecards after a day on the fairways.

Built on a small piazza overlooking the Mediterranean, the clubhouse – which offers everything from rentals, bag storage and shoe and club cleaning to overnight regripping and changing facilities – sits within easy reach of the stylish Liolà, serving rustic Sicilian trattoria dishes or a refreshing aperitivo.

Guests can enjoy access to a range of leading golf brands including Callaway, TaylorMade, Ping, Titleist and Wilson Staff while navigating the fairways using our fleet of recently upgraded GPS-enabled buggies.

Take a quick break for lunch or cool down with a chilled beer or juice at our Sunset Bar. Choose from a tempting selection of Sicilian dishes, fresh seafood and pizzas at the Liolà trattoria. Our Pro Shop offers equipment and clothing from luxury golf brands, as well as our signature accessories. Other facilities available at the clubhouse include:

FOOD & DRINK
Built around around a small piazza overlooking the sea, we have the following dining and drinking options at our Clubhouse:

Sunset Bar – bar with terrace: drinks served al freco on comfortable lounges 
Liolà Trattoria – restaurant & pizzeria with terrace: Sicilian specialities, including pizza and pasta

Both have views of the sea and towards Sciacca.
